Panaji: Abu Farhan Azmi, son of Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azmi in Maharashtra, said on Wednesday, in the backdrop of lodging an FIR against a group of local people in Goa that a small thing was made and he is not against Goa. Talking outside the Kalangut police station, Farhan said that Goa is home away from home for him and he should not be seen as a person who is against the Govas.

The Goa police on Tuesday registered an FIR against Farhan and others for fighting a public place in the state and breach of peace. Restaurant owner and entrepreneur Farhan is the husband of former actress Ayesha Takia. Farhan had a fight with a bike rider and his associates in Goa on Monday night. He said, “It was a small thing. (When I wanted to take my car to the left) I gave the signal (indicator), but then the group pushed me, calling me abusive. ”
What did Farhan say on the charge of waving arms?
Farhan said that when this incident happened, he was having fun with his son in Goa. He said, “After this, there was a huge crowd there and while sensing the problem, I called the 100 (police) number. Things had become very fierce. “
Farhan dismissed the charge of waving arms. He said, “I am not a person who waves weapons.” I have been coming to Goa for the last 20 years. ” Farhan said, “For me, Goa is home away from home. We want Goa to become the capital of tourism and tourism in India. ” He said that whatever happened in Goa has hurt him. Farhan said, “But thousands of Goa residents are my friends, who have come forward in my support.”
Goa police praised
He praised the Goa police and said that he was cooperating with him. Farhan said, “But do not spoil my name by saying that I am against the people of Goa.” He offered reconciliation and said, “Let’s end it here. I can apologize, but I was not wrong.
