A Delhi student studying in a prestigious boarding school in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand died on Monday due to drowning in a swimming pool. According to the information received from the police, the incident occurred at Wine-Garg Alan School in the morning when a student named Saksham Sehrawat was practicing swimming in the swimming pool and suddenly he fainted. The school staff present on the spot took him out of the swimming pool and immediately rushed him to the hospital where doctors declared him dead.
The student was practicing with friends
The Mussoorie police said, on Monday morning at 5:45 am, the 13 -year -old student went to practice in swimming pool as usual and was swimming with his friends. He remained in the pool as soon as he swimming. After some time when the student did not act, friends and teachers pulled the student out of the swimming pool, but he was unconscious. The student was brought to Landour Community Hospital in Mussoorie by the school administration, where doctors declared him dead after investigation.
Family reached Mussoorie from Delhi
Police said that after receiving information about the incident, the family of 13 -year -old Saksham, who lives in the military form of New Delhi, reached the spot. In the presence of family members, the post -mortem of Saksham’s body was done and then handed over to them. Was a student of seventh grade in competent boarding. Police said the investigation of the case has been started, however, the cause of the student’s death will be clear only after the post -mortem report. (With language inputs)
