Accused of pelting stones at Vande Bharat arrested.
Incidents of stone pelting on Vande Bharat Express keep coming to light from different states of the country. Now Uttar Pradesh ATS has taken strict action against the gang that pelted stones at Vande Bharat in Varanasi and arrested a wanted accused. The accused has told that the speed of the train was reduced due to breaking of glass due to throwing of stones. This made it easier for him to snatch mobile phones from people sitting at the window.
How was the accused caught?
In fact, on August 23, there was stone pelting at Vyasnagar and Kashi stations on Ranchi Varanasi Vande Bharat train. A young man named Pawan Kumar Sahni was arrested in this. He told during interrogation that Hussain alias Shahid was also involved in stone pelting. Due to the case being suspicious, UP ATS arrested Hussain alias Shahid who lived on rent in Mughalsarai Chandauli and interrogated him. During interrogation, he told that after stone pelting, they used to snatch phones from the passengers sitting near the gate and window as the speed of the train reduced.
What did ATS tell?
UP ATS has informed that information is being collected by ATS through various means to identify the people who spread fear by causing railway accidents and efforts are being made to control such activities. In this sequence, UP ATS has arrested Hussain alias Shahid, who was wanted in the case of stone pelting at Vande Bharat.
The accused was handed over to RPF
After interrogation, accused Hussain alias Shahid has been handed over to Railway Protection Force, Vyasnagar, Chandauli by UP ATS Field Unit Varanasi for further legal action. Advance legal action in the matter is being taken by Railway Protection Force, Vyasnagar, Chandauli.
