New Delhi. Delhi Police has arrested 47 Bangladeshi citizens while campaigning against Bangladeshis living illegally. Along with them, 5 Indian agents have also been arrested by the Delhi Police. These Indian agents used to make fake rent agreement, identity cards like Aadhaar cards etc. of these Bangladeshi citizens. The police is questioning all these. So far more than 75 illegal Bangladeshis have been arrested from South East Delhi. The process of sending them all back to their country is going on.

Giving information, DCP Ravi Kumar Singh of South East Delhi said that according to the instructions of the government, a campaign of illegal immigrants is being carried out. The DCP said that a man named Chand Mian brings Bangladeshis to India and is the mastermind of making fake documents. After catching him, 33 Bangladeshi citizens have been detained from Chennai and 8 Bangladeshis from Vijayawada. According to the DCP, Chand Mian used to go to Bangladesh and illegally entrust 8 to 10 Bangladeshis in India. He was doing this work for a long time, at the moment he is also being questioned.
Earlier, more than 550 people were detained while taking major action against Bangladeshi citizens living illegally in Gujarat. 100 Bangladeshis were first caught in Surat, followed by 457 people in Ahmedabad. All these are also being questioned and their documents are also being verified. Many people have been sent to Bangladesh and many are yet to come. For some time, strong action has been going on against illegal immigrants across the country.
