Ranya Rao is a director in Csiroda India Private Limited Company, his company was given 12 acres of government land in the vein industrial area near Tumkuru in 2023. This approval was during the then government’s tenure, on 2 January 2023, documents suggest that land allocation was approved in the meeting of the 137th State Level Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC).
Why the land was allotted?
According to sources, it is not easy to get such a large government land without political and administrative support. In such a situation, questions are arising whether this land was sanctioned with the help of influential politicians? In the proposal to Kiadb, the company said that it would invest TMT strip, sariya and co-produce production units with an investment of Rs 138 crore, creating about 160 jobs. Land was allotted on this basis.
