New Delhi. The Grand Finale of Advaita-e-Symphony Music Award 2025 will be held on Saturday, 6 September at Azad Bhawan Auditorium located in ITO, Delhi. The program will start from 3 pm to 7 pm in which there will be a competition for singing between the young talents associated with music and the winners will be honored. The Advaita-e Symphony Music Award is being organized by the Hemant Bala Advaita Foundation to spread awareness about the deaths due to drowning in water.
Actually, this is a campaign that is being run by his parents in memory of a late youth named Advaita Verma. Advaita Verma, a resident of Delhi, died in June 2024 after drowning in a Pavana dam near Pune. At that time Advaita was 18 years old. Advaita was a BBA second year student and was very interested in the field of music. Advaita went to roam the pavana dam with his friends, but due to slipping the leg, he fell into the water and could not be saved. After Advaita was not there, his parents took a resolution and started a music singing competition to make people aware of drowning people, especially the youth. Since Advaita loved music, awareness program was started through concert.
According to Advaita’s father Sudesh Verma, Advaita was a very talented singer and in his memory itself, the Advaita-e Symphony Music Award has been launched under the aim of providing a platform to the youth for singing. Along with this, creating awareness about the deaths due to drowning is also a major objective of this program. According to composer Rahul Ram, every year about 38 thousand people die due to drowning in water in our country.
