After just a few months, the hassle of going to Delhi airport will end

Important steps have been taken regarding security arrangements at Noida International Airport. 1047 CISF jawans will be deployed, in which unmarried jawans will get accommodation facility in the airport premises itself, while Yamuna International Airport Limited will make arrangements for accommodation for married jawans. This decision was taken in the meeting of the Joint Coordination Committee held in Lucknow under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh.

Construction and testing of the airport

In the first phase of the airport, the terminal building, ATC tower and runway are being constructed in an area of ​​1334 hectares, which will be completed in the next six to seven months. The work of installing radar systems and other equipment will be done only after the construction is completed, so that the equipment is not damaged by dust.

Trial runs and flight preparations

Trial runs will begin at the airport in December, in which the runway will be tested by flying planes. The Instrument Landing System (ILS) for calibration flights will be installed by September or October. After this, flights will be started by signing an agreement with the airlines. IndiGo has planned to start 25 flights from the first day and Akasa Airlines has planned to start 65 flights.

Other facilities and preparations

Fuel line: The work of laying 34 km underground fuel line is almost complete. Ground handling: Bird Group has been entrusted with the responsibility of ground handling facility. Catering and hotel: World class catering facilities will be provided at the airport. Apart from this, a five star hotel with more than 600 rooms is also being built, which will also have parking facility.
