India has declared a holiday till the next notification in all government and private schools in all government and private schools in all government and private schools of Rajasthan, including Pakistan and Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir (POJK), in view of missile attacks on terrorist camps, Barmer, Bikaner, Sriganganagar and Jaisalmer. Schools in Barmer district will remain a holiday till further orders from Thursday.
District Collector Tina Dabi issued an order saying “I am Tina Dabi, District Collector and Chairman, District Disaster and Disaster Management Authority, Barmer, Disaster 4 of the Disaster Act 2005 using the powers provided under Section 30 of the Disaster 45, in view of the safety of school children in the district in view of the safety of school children in the district, in view of the safety of school children in the district. In institutions/CBSE schools/Anganwadi/madrasas, I declare a holiday till the next order from 8 May 2025 and the home/general examination to be held from 8 May 2025 is also postponed till the next order. “
The program to be held from 8 May 2025 has also been postponed. In order, it has been said that all the heads of the district are directed to ensure strict cradle of these orders and all institutions will be present in the school according to the head/personnel time. If an institution disregards the above orders, action will be taken against it under the provisions of the Disaster Management Act, 2005. All government and private schools have been closed from today in Bikaner.
District Collector Namrata Vrishni has declared a leisure for students of all government and private schools till CBSE School, Anganwadi Madrasas including COSE 12 to class 12, in view of the safety of school children, using the powers conferred in Section 30 of the Chapter 4 of the Disaster Management Act 2005.
