What is in the order issued by the government
According to the order, all the employees, teachers and contracts who believe in Islam can go from their office to offer prayers on Ramadan, a person appointed on the basis of outsourcing and employees of the village/ward secretariat.
According to the guidelines issued by the concerned authorities, it was directed to leave their offices or schools one hour before the closure of their offices or schools to perform the necessary rituals on all working days during the Holy Ramadan month from 2 March to 30 March. Like previous years – a GO has arisen after allowing Muslim employees to quit work an hour before the month of Ramadan.
BJP angry with Telangana government
Earlier, the Telangana government issued a circular allowing Muslim employees to leave the office an hour earlier during the holy month of Ramadan. The opposition party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), criticizing the move, has surprised why such measures are not taken during Hindu festivals.
