Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and President of the National Conference (NC) Farooq Abdullah on Sunday expressed disappointment over the silence of Muslim countries against the US attacks against Iran and the ongoing struggle between Israel and Iran.
Farooq Abdullah said, “I am disappointed that the Muslim world is silent. Iran is in this situation today, but tomorrow America will destroy them. If they do not wake up today they will have to wait for their turn.” He further said that he believes that he would not leave its ambitions despite the attacks. Comparing Karbala, the leader of the National Conference said that Iran “will not bow”.
Farooq Abdullah said, “If they think Iran will give up its ambition, they are in misunderstanding. Iran remembers Karbala and thinks that it is the second Karbala. Their necks will be cut, but they will not bow down.”
Farooq Abdullah further said, “… They want to change power there (in Iran) – will things be better after the change of power? America and Israel have long believed that they will not allow Iran to be made nuclear weapons, but if they think that Iran will give up its ambitions, they are misunderstood …”
The Israeli Air Force on Sunday launched a new series of air strikes targeting military sites in western Iran. The action was taken shortly after the citizens were injured in Israel in the Iranian missile attacks.
In a statement, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) said, “IAF has started a series of attacks on military bases in western Iran. In addition, this morning, IAF, this morning, attacked the missile launchers, Iranian armed forces soldiers, and some time ago launched the missile.”

On the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, the United States and Israel targeted atomic sites at Iran’s Natanj, Isfahan and Fordo. Fardo is the main enhancement place of Iran for 60 percent of uranium enhancement.
According to a CNN report, the US possibly using six B-2 bombers, a dozen GBU-57A/B “Bunker Buster” bomb dropped at the Fordo nuclear site, also known as Massive Ordnance Penetters (MOP), which ranks the main place of Iran’s uranium enhancement.
An American official also told CNN that the entire payload of bombs was dropped on Fordo. In his first public remarks after the attacks, President Trump warned that further action can be taken if Tehran fails to agree on a satisfactory peace agreement. In his address to the nation from the White House on Saturday, Trump said, “There will be either peace or tragedy for Iran, which we have seen in the last eight days will be much larger than that.”
