Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai has praised the state’s anti-terrorism team i.e. ATS. In fact, recently the ATS arrested three terrorists, who had been fugitives for the last three decades. The investigating officer was looking for him for many years. All these gruesome terrorists were involved in incidents.
Posting on X (East Twitter), Annamalai wrote, “The arrest of Sadiq Ali, Mohammad Ali Mansoor and Abubakar is a big success. Tamil Nadu ATS, Andhra Pradesh State Police, and all the officers involved in this work my heartfelt praise.”
The three arrested terrorists are members of the banned organization Al-Ummah. He was involved in the fierce terrorist attack in Coimbatore in 1978, killing 58 people. Earlier in 1993, his name was also revealed in the terrorist attack on the RSS office and the 1995 bomb blast (in which the bomb was placed in the Ramayana book).
Annamalai said that it is one of the longest -long terror cases. All the terrorists kept their real name hidden.
