Videos and photos of the plane crash on the hostel building are also going viral on social media. It can be seen that a part of the plane is stuck on the hostel building. At the same time, many cars parked around the building have also been gutted. Three NDRF teams have arrived from Vadodara and Gandhi Nagar and are engaged in rescue work. Joint CP Jaipal Singh Rathore of Ahmedabad said that the building on which the aircraft crashed is a hostel of doctors. Within minutes of receiving information about the accident, police and civil administration officials reached the spot and started working in rescue work.

According to Flight Radar 24, the initial Ads-B data received from Air India flight number AI171 shows that the aircraft reached a maximum of 625 feet height. The height of the airport is about 200 feet. The aircraft then started coming down at a vertical speed of 475 feet per minute and crashed.
