A very shocking case of suicide of an AI engineer has come to light in Bengaluru. 34 year old Atul Subhash committed suicide accusing his wife and mother-in-law of harassing him for money. On December 9, Atul Subhash, a resident of Samastipur, Bihar, made a 90-minute video before suicide in which he told in detail what happened to him after marriage. Before committing suicide, Atul made many serious allegations against his wife Nikita Singhania.
Atul wrote in the suicide note that his wife Nikita Singhania has filed 6 cases in the lower court and three in the high court. Nikita has accused her parents and brother of murder, attempt to murder, unnatural sex, domestic violence, taking dowry. Till now 120 court dates have taken place. He himself had gone from Bangalore to Jaunpur 40 times.
90 minute video on wife’s harassment, 24 page suicide note
Before committing suicide, Atul made a 90-minute video and also wrote a 24-page letter in which his wife Nikita Singhania’s demand for money was mentioned. Atul has written in his note that-
His wife Nikita Singhania asked for Rs 3 crore to end the case. In lieu of divorce, demanded alimony of Rs 2 lakh every month. Didn’t even let me see my son’s face. Nikita’s father died of illness after marriage but her in-laws filed an FIR for murder.
The judge asked for Rs 5 lakh to settle the case
According to Atul, he got married in 2019 and within 5 years, his wife, in-laws and biased law and order forced him to commit suicide. Atul has also accused the Jaunpur woman judge hearing the case of demanding bribe. According to Atul’s allegation, the judge in the family court asked for Rs 5 lakh to settle the case. Not only this, Atul has also exposed the game of bribery inside the court.
When he refused to pay the bribe, the court issued an order for alimony and maintenance against him, under which he was ordered to pay Rs 80,000 to his wife every month. Atul alleged that Principal Family Court Judge Rita Kaushik also put pressure on him to pay maintenance of Rs 3 crore. After excluding his wife, the judge spoke to her alone and demanded Rs 5 lakh as bribe for himself. He said that he should give him Rs 5 lakh. She will settle the case only in December 2024. Atul Subhash has made many such serious allegations against the judge in his video.
The woman judge used to be biased
Atul has written in his suicide note that one day after seeing him in the court, his wife said, “Hey, haven’t you committed suicide yet?” On this the deceased said, “If I die, how will your party go on?” On this Atul’s wife said, it will work even then. Your father will give the money. When the husband dies, everything belongs to the wife. After your death, your parents will also die soon. The daughter-in-law has a part in that too.” Along with this, the deceased also told that the female judge of Jaunpur was partial to him and used to laugh at him in the court room.
Atul’s suicide note mentions wife’s instigation
Atul has claimed in the suicide note that during the hearing in the court in Jaunpur, his wife instigated him to commit suicide in front of the judge. During this, the female judge also laughed.
‘If you don’t get justice, throw the ashes in the gutter’
Apart from this, his parents and brother also had to make rounds of the court. Atul appealed to the Judiciary not to harass the parents and gave his last message to his wife that she should hand over her child to his parents for upbringing with values. He instructed his brother not to meet my wife and her in-laws without a camera. Also, if he does not get justice, his ashes should be thrown into the gutter in front of the court.
Mother’s crying condition is bad
After Atul’s suicide, his mother is crying badly. She is making only one request while crying that her son should get justice. Atul’s brother Vikas Modi says that after marriage, Atul cherished the dreams of living with his wife in love for the rest of his life, but he did not even dream that in a few days he would have to burn in the same fire in which he was taking rounds. . Fed up with his wife’s serious allegations one after another and date after date in court, Atul committed suicide in defeat.
Failed system became the reason for suicide
Social activist Barkha Trehan has also raised questions on the death of engineer Atul Subhash. He says that this is a failure of the system due to which Atul Subhash has committed suicide after getting upset. After Atul’s death, on the complaint of the family, the police have registered a case of abetment to suicide against Atul’s wife and his wife’s family. Atul Subhash’s suicide has shocked the entire country. There is a new debate on this issue on social media and people are showing anger about the system.
