New Delhi: Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday. This meeting lasted for about 40 minutes. Cases related to security and defense preparations were discussed between the two leaders.
Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday amid the increasing tension between India and Pakistan in the backdrop of the Pahalgam terror attack. Sources said that the Air Force chief held a meeting with Prime Minister Modi. However, he did not give any more information.

Before this meeting, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah met PM Modi and discussed various issues including terrorist attacks in Pahalgam last week. The meeting between the two leaders lasted for about half an hour. This was the first meeting between the two leaders since the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April. 26 people were killed in this attack, mostly tourists.
Pakistan is inciting India on LoC
At the same time, Pakistan has violated the ceasefire by firing near Loc on the 10th consecutive day. Many posts of Pakistan were fired towards India without any provocation. However, India’s army also responded to this act of Pakistan. About 32 posts of Pakistan’s army have become active, from where firing has been done.
According to the latest information, on the night of 03-04 May 2025, Pakistani Army posts fired in several areas of Jammu and Kashmir. It fired with small weapons without provocation beyond the Line of Control in areas around Kupwara, Baramulla, Poonch, Rajouri, Mendhar, Naushera, Sunderbani and Akhnoor. The Indian Army also immediately responded to this firing by Pakistan.
