Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday amid increasing tension between India and Pakistan. This was revealed by Tripathi of Naval Chief Admiral Dinesh at Prime Minister Modi’s residence on Lok Kalyan Marg in the national capital on Saturday.
The meeting between Air Force Chief and Prime Minister Modi was held a few days after the meeting chaired by Prime Minister Modi, which included Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief of Defense Staff General Anil Chauhan and heads of the three armies. National Security Advisor Ajit Doval was also present at the meeting.
A day after the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, there was a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security Affairs, in which 26 people were killed.
