A Golden Chesis from the US helped download 49 hours of flight data from the Boeing 787-8 black box of AI’s aircraft, crashed last month.
The plane crash took place on 12 June in which 260 people were killed. Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) recovered two black boxes or ‘Intended Airborne Flight Recorders’ (EAFR) and brought them to the national capital on 24 June.
Data from the damaged flight recorders is generally downloaded after receiving the relevant download cable from golden chassis and other accident investigation authorities.
In the current investigation, AAIB said on Saturday that the download cable required to download data from Golden Chassis or EAFR unit and EAFR was obtained from the US National Transport Safety Board (NTSB).
