New Delhi. Air India CEO Campbell Wilson has said that the plane crashed in Ahmedabad had no mechanical malfunction and neither had any issue related to maintenance. The statement has been issued by CEO Campbell Wilson after the initial inquiry report of the Air India Bureau of Investigation (AAIB) in the case of Air India flight number AI171 crash. He appealed to the people not to reach any conclusion based on the initial report. Earlier, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu also said that only after the final report came, make any conclusions.
Let us tell you that this report of AAIB, which was made public two days ago, is fearing that the accident occurred due to the closure of the fuel switch of both the engine of the aircraft. Air India CEO Wilson said that after the DGCA’s instructions after the Ahmedabad accident, all the Boeing 787 aircraft of Air India were investigated intense. Any aircraft did not reveal any flaw and all were found to be fully fit for flight. He said that if any other security -related suggestion is given in future, then it will also be fulfilled by the company.
Let us know that after the plane crash, different compensation was announced by Air India and its owned company Tata Sons. It was announced by both of them to give 1.5 crore compensation to the family of each deceased. On the other hand, the AAIB report in the Ministry of Civil Aviation was said to be analyzed. He had said that its final report will come soon, till then we should not draw any kind of conclusion. The Minister of Aviation also said that we have the best pilots in the world.
