Air India flight coming from Britain to Delhi had to divert in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. It was said by the airlines that all the passengers in the flight are safe and the security investigation has been completed.
The statement released by Air India stated that the flight was safely launched in Saudi’s capital Riyadh and security was investigated. Nothing such suspect was found during the security check. The airlines further said in their statement that all the passengers were taken off the aircraft and stayed in the hotel. At the same time, alternative flights were also arranged to bring passengers to their destinations.
Air India Airlines said that prioritizing the safety of passengers is its first duty. Security checks also led to time and various reasons in the international airs, such as the closure of the airspace in the Middle East, night curfew at many airports in Europe and Asia, and delay in some flights due to increased air traffic.
