New Delhi. An Air India aircraft, which flew from Mumbai airport to New York, was turned back from the way after a bomb threatening and landing on Mumbai. All the passengers on the aircraft have been taken away safely and a thorough search of the aircraft is being conducted. However, nothing suspicious item has been found in the aircraft, after which it is believed that someone had threatened to harass mere. The aircraft had 303 passengers in addition to 19 members of the crew members.
According to Air India, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was threatened with a bomb in flight number AI-119 flying from International Airport. A crew member aboard the aircraft received this threat through a note in the toilet. After which he informed the pilot. The pilot spoke to the ground staff and the aircraft was turned back to Mumbai. Air India said that nothing has been found in the aircraft, but the search is still going on. Now this aircraft will fly to New York tomorrow i.e. on March 11 at 5 am.
Arrangements have been made by Air Lines to stay in the hotel for the passengers on the aircraft where they have also been provided with the facility of food etc. by the aviation company.
