New Delhi. The preliminary investigation report of the Air India aircraft accident in Ahmedabad has come. After this investigation report, many questions are being raised. Now the news channel Aaj Tak has reported that Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau, which investigates aircraft accidents, will further investigate on AAIB three angles. This will be clear what happened in the Air India aircraft that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel of Ahmedabad became a victim of the accident shortly after flying from International Airport.
According to the channel, AAIB will now investigate whether Air India flight fell down due to technical disturbances? It will also see the responsibility of the aircraft making Boeing company. Apart from this, it will be seen in the investigation that the pilot cut off the fuel switch or it happened suddenly? Actually, this switch is such that just a cutoff or run cannot be done. The switch can be brought to a position of run or cutoff only by pulling the switch outwards. Experts of Honeywell, a switch -making company, are also being called to investigate this. The third point of investigation will be whether the accident occurred due to the malfunction of any other device of the aircraft?
The Air India aircraft looked like this just before the accident.
The focus of the investigation on the fuel switch rests because the interaction of the two pilots in the Cockpit Voice Records of Air India aircraft has revealed that suddenly the fuel of the aircraft had stopped reaching the fuel and this slowed down the speed of the aircraft. Air India aircraft flight number AI-171 was going to Gatwick in London with 242 passengers, including 10 members of the crew. The aircraft took off at around 1.38 in the afternoon and came down in 32 seconds and collided with the hostel of the medical college. Due to this, 241 people aboard the aircraft died. Only one passenger was saved. At the same time, more than 10 people also died due to the collision of the aircraft with the hostel. Among them were medical students.
