The impact of the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan is now clearly visible on international air services. Last night, several flights were canceled or diverted on Wednesday morning after India carried out an air strike under ‘Operation Sindoor’ at terrorist bases in Pakistan -occupied Kashmir and Pakistan.
🇦🇪 Flidubai suspended flights to Pakistan
Dubai -based Flydubai Airline said in an official statement that all flights to Pakistan on 7 May 2025 have been temporarily suspended, while some flights have been diverted. Pakistan has shut down most of its airspace, only Jinnah International Airport in Karachi is currently operational.

At least three flights of Emirates flying from Dubai to Pakistan have been completely canceled:

✈️ EK 612 (Dubai to Islamabad): Canceled
Apart from this, many flights faced a delay of hours:

🌍 Europe’s big airlines also changed the route
In view of the stressful situation, many European airlines have started avoiding Pakistani aircraft. These include:

🇬🇧 British Airways
Air France told CNN that “Due to the increasing tension between India and Pakistan, we are not currently flying over Pakistan.” At the same time, Lufthansa said that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the security reasons.

The Government of India carried out air strikes at 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (Pojk) under ‘Operation Sindoor’ on Wednesday morning.
