Border Security Force (BSF) personnel deployed at the border shared a heartfelt message with the nation, assuring citizens of their safety and also extending warm wishes for the New Year. Calling BSF and the country as their family, the soldiers expressed pride in securing the borders and serving the nation.
Speaking to ANI, a BSF personnel said, “I want to tell the countrymen that they are safe in their homes, because we guard the border. I wish the entire country a very happy New Year. BSF and the country, my family.” And I am happy to serve here.”
Highlighting the challenges of border duty, another BSF personnel explained the difficulties they face, especially during the winter season. “There are many challenges on the border, especially during the winter season. There is severe cold, fog and even frost, but we remain alert, stand firm to protect the country’s borders. Along with this, I Want to wish all my fellow countrymen a happy new year,” she told ANI.
He further said, “BSF patrolling is active and behind me you can see women BSF personnel patrolling in Jammu and RS Pura sector.”
Despite inclement weather and many challenges, the personnel emphasized their unwavering commitment to duty. “We face every challenge head on, be it bad weather or any other difficulty. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, we remain alert and dedicated to our mission. We remain steadfast in protecting the country’s borders Also, I would like to wish all my countrymen a very happy New Year.”
BSF has increased its vigil along the International Border to ensure tight security on New Year’s Eve. According to BSF, many terrorists operating on the Pakistan border are active in Jammu and Kashmir, further increasing the need for tight surveillance.
