An all -party parliamentary delegation led by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor arrived here on Sunday morning to convey a strong message of India of zero tolerance to all forms and expressions of terrorism.
The delegation, which included Sarfaraz Ahmed (JMM), Gants Harish Madhur Balayogi (TDP), Shashank Mani Tripathi (BJP), Bhubaneswar Kalita (BJP), Milind Deora (Shiv Sena), Tejashwi Surya (BJP) and former India Ambassador Taranjit Sandhu in America, and Taranjit Sandhu of India in America included the airport of India, India’s highly -free Amit S. Gave.
Tharoor posted on X, “The multi-party delegation reached Georgatown, Guyana this morning and was welcomed before going to the city. (Five MPs are present here, they are accompanied by Ambassador Amit Telang and Taranjit Sandhu, two MPs arrived from the earlier flight last night). The President had a good conversation with our High Commissioner at the airport tonight.”
During the three -day visit, the delegation will hold talks with Guyana’s leadership and media, Indian community and migrant community and prominent negotiaters of India’s friends in Guyana. This will underline India’s strong message of unity and brotherhood as well as its collective resolution of fighting against terrorism. The delegation will also attend the 50th Independence Day celebrations organized by the Government of Cooperative Republic of Guyana on 25 May.
