Allahabad High Court on SC/ST Act: Allahabad High Court imposed a fine of Rs 25000 on the village head, threatened to impose SC/ST Act to the lawyer, Allahabad High Court IMPOSE Fine of 25 Thousand on a Village Head Who Threatened to Apply Sc St act on a Lawyer

Prayagraj. In the coming days, all the cases come that fake SC/ST Act was imposed on someone. The courts have taken a tough stand in all such cases. Now the Allahabad High Court has also imposed a fine of Rs 25000 on a village head in the case of SC/ST Act. Justice JJ Munir fined Jung Bahadur, the head of Bahadurpur Cachar Hetapatti village, because he threatened a lawyer to impose the SC/ST Act. Also spoke to the lawyer in indecent language. The court did not pronounce any other punishment for apologizing on behalf of the village head.

The case is of land occupation in Phulpur, Prayagraj. Regarding Bahadurpur Cachar Hetapatti village head Jung Bahadur, advocate Wasim Akhtar told the court that he threatened to impose the SC/ST Act on him. Also said that if a case is filed in this regard, then he will forget the advocacy. Advocate Wasim Akhtar’s father is the defendant in the case of land possession. Wasim Akhtar had recorded the threat of the village head to impose the SC/ST Act and in the indecent language. The Allahabad High Court imposed a fine on the village head after reading the transcript of this conversation. Out of this fine, 10 thousand rupees will go to the lawyer and 15 thousand rupees will go to the State Legal Service Authority.

Justice JJ Munir also decided to re -hear the case. He said that a lawyer is like a fighter in Shantikal. Which works to provide justice to people. Despite this, many times people tell him well on the unwanted mistakes of the lawyer. The court said that there is a lot of stress in judicial work and the courts have attracted attention to the stress to the members of the bar that provides justice. Justice Munir warned the village head that they would take precautions in future. The village head apologized and told the court that it would not do this in future.
