Tahwwur Rana was brought to India through extradition from US jail. He is currently in custody of NIA. Tehwwur Rana is the main conspirator of 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Meanwhile, the US investigating agency has shared several information from the NIA. It has made many major revelations related to 26/11 Mumbai attack. According to the shared information, the Arabian Sea waves in Mumbai were in spate, so the date of the attack was postponed once. Pakistan, ISI, Lashkar -e -Taiba and Tawwur Rana were waiting for the seasy waves to calm down before 26/11.
Rana had complete information about the attack
Apart from this, Headley said during a meeting with Tahwwur Rana before the attack that the Mumbai attack has been postponed for some time, as the waves of the sea are not calm. Rana was the same as the information about the attacks in Mumbai was as much as the terrorist Lakhvi-Hafiz Saeed-Makki and the rest of the conspirators. Every part of the plot of 26/11 was being shared with Tahwwur Rana. This has been confirmed by the US investigative agencies themselves in their report, which they have shared with the NIA.
Rana met Headley
According to the US inquiry report, Headley went to the US for about six weeks in late April 2008. In late May 2008, David Coleman Headley met Tehwwur Rana in Chicago. The special thing is that Headley told Rana that the attack has been postponed for some time, because the waves of the sea were not calm. In March 2008, David Coleman Headley was told by Lashkar that terrorists would attack the Taj Hotel in Mumbai. Headley told this in Chicago during the meeting to Rana in May 2008, while Rana lied during interrogation in the US that he was not aware of the 26/11 attack.
Headley did Reiki in India
Now NIA is asking all this question to Rana and every hidden Raj of 26/11 wants to know NIA. Headley told Rana about which places he did in Mumbai and met which colleagues. Headley also told Rana that the terrorists have been ordered to take off the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai. It was Headley who made Reiki by boat in Mumbai Harbor and informed Rana about the use of GPS device. During these five days of conversation, the accused informed Rana about the Reiki of the cities of India. Headley told Rana that he was ordered above for Reiki in many more cities.
What did the court say before giving remand?
Let us know that after being brought to India, Tehwavur Rana has been sent by the Special NIA court of Patiala House on remand for 18 days. It is written in the remand note that this conspiracy is not limited to India, but its wires are connected to international levels. In this, the National Capital (Delhi) including many cities of India was targeted. It is necessary to investigate the Reiki conducted by Tehwwur Rana and his associates. The court said that it is necessary to introduce Tahwwur Rana to the evidence that is associated with Reiki. The court said that it is necessary to face Rana with witnesses and other evidence. Along with this, the conspiracy is very deep, so continuous inquiries in police custody are necessary to reach the bottom. The court admitted that the matter was related to India’s security and sovereignty. The judge said that the investigating agency should get a full and fair opportunity so that they can present all the facts before the court.
Rana and Headley’s relationship will be investigated
On the other hand, if sources are to be believed, after getting 18 days of custody, Nia is questioning Tawwur Rana on relationships with Headley. The NIA will test the statements of Tahwwur Rana on what the conversation took place between Headley and Rana before the Mumbai attack. Actually, all this will happen through MLATS i.e. Mutual Legal Assistant Treatiies. These mutual legal assistance treaties are used for cooperation in legal matters, especially criminal cases between two countries. Under this treaty, countries share information and evidence related to each other. India has a treats with many countries, one of which is also America. All matters related to the MLATS Treaty in India are controlled by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), that is, MHA between two countries plays the role of Madhyasta for such cases. Through the same MLATS Treaty, Indian investigative agencies will get the statements of Rana’s statements with the statements of David Coalman Headley.
