Amidst the situation in West Asia, India urged its citizens to be vigilant and following security and emergency procedures as per the instructions given at Israel, Iran and Palestine.
Tensions have increased after the military attacks carried out by Israel on Friday at various places in Iran and the retaliation by Tehran.
The Indian Embassy in Israel wrote on ‘X’ amid the changing situation, “Consultation (till 14 June 2025): In view of the current situation in the area, all Indian citizens in Israel are advised to be vigilant and to follow the security protocol as per the instructions of Israeli authorities and ‘Home Front Command’.”
The embassy urged them to “take care, avoid unnecessary travel within the country and stay close to security shelters”. He said, “We are constantly monitoring the emerging situation including safety of Indian citizens. Please contact the embassy in any emergency. ”
The Indian Embassy in Iran on Friday issued a consultation on its ‘X’ account and urged the Indians living there to be vigilant.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal wrote on ‘X’, “Indian citizens in Iran and people of Indian origin, who need help, can contact the emergency number of the Indian Embassy in Iran.”
Apart from this, India’s Representative Office (ROI) at Ramallah also issued a consultation on Saturday.
He wrote on X, “In view of the current situation in the region, all Indian citizens are requested to be cautious and follow the safety and emergency processes that will be advised locally.” Please be careful and avoid unnecessary movement
India said on Friday that it is “extremely worried” with the recent developments between Iran and Israel and is closely monitoring the emerging situation “.
New Delhi had urged both countries to avoid any kind of aggressive step.
