New Delhi. Foreign Minister Jaishankar was responding during the discussion on Operation Sindoor in the Lok Sabha today, some opposition MPs were repeatedly interrupting their point while interrupting. Union Home Minister Amit Shah got angry on this matter. He stood in his place in the middle of Jaishankar’s speech and narrated a lot to the opposition MPs. Amit Shah said to Om Birla, “I have an objection to the President that he (the opposition) does not trust the Foreign Minister of India, but trusts another country.” I can understand the importance of foreigner in his party. But this does not mean that all the things of his party should be imposed in the House here.

The Home Minister further said, that is why he is sitting there (on opposition benches) and will sit there for the next 20 years. When the Leader of the opposition was speaking, we were listening with full patience. I will tell you yesterday, how much untrue things did the opposition say, yet we drank untruth as halale and they are unable to hear the truth. Today, when such a serious issue is being discussed, is it appropriate to interrupt in the middle while speaking to the minister of a major department of the government? I think the Speaker, you should give protection to the Foreign Minister.
