New Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke for the first time about the resignation of former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar. The Home Minister targeted the opposition for opposing the 130th Amendment Bill to remove the PM, CM, ministers who went to jail on charges of corruption. In an interview to ANI, when Shah was questioned whether he pressurized Jagdeep Dhankhar to resign, he said that Dhankhar Saheb has resigned citing his health. Dhankhar is said, on this question being raised by the opposition, Shah said, while holding the constitutional post, Dhankhar ji did a good job during his tenure. In this, talk should not be made. One should not try to find something by pulling this matter more.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on the 130th Amendment Bill, BJP and Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi believe that no chief minister, minister or Prime Minister of this country can run the government while in jail. When the constitution was formed, the constitution makers would not have imagined such shamelessness that a Chief Minister would go to jail and remain the Chief Minister from jail. On various allegations by the Opposition, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, “Even today, he is trying that if he ever had to go to jail, he will easily form a government from jail.” Only CM House, PM House will be made the jail and DGP, Chief Secretary, Cabinet Secretary or Home Secretary will take orders from the jail. My party and I reject this idea completely. This will not affect anyone’s majority in Parliament or Vidhan Sabha. One member will go, other members of the party will run the government and when you get bail, they can come and take oath again. What is the objection to this?

Shah said, JPC will do its job after the opposition boycott JPC on the 130th Amendment Bill. Tomorrow, if the opposition does not cooperate in any work for four years from now, will the country not work? This does not work like this. All we can do is give them a chance to speak. If they do not want to keep their point, if they do not want to speak, then the people of the country are also watching all this. Amit Shah said, I resigned the very next day after receiving summons from CBI while being the Home Minister of Gujarat. I was later arrested. The case continued and later I was found to be completely innocent. That decision came later, I had already got bail, even then I did not take oath and did not become Home Minister again. Not only this, I did not take the oath of any constitutional office until all the allegations against me were completely dismissed. So is the opposition teaching me the lesson of morality.
