New Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has announced that the Waqf Amendment Bill will be introduced in this session of Parliament. Amit Shah has said this in a conversation with a news channel. Amit Shah also clearly stated that no one should be afraid of the Waqf Amendment Bill. He said that the Narendra Modi government is making changes in the Waqf Act by staying within the purview of the Constitution. Amit Shah accused the opposition that he was misleading Muslims regarding the Waqf Bill. Amit Shah clearly stated that there is no intention of curbing any rights of Muslims through the Waqf Amendment Bill.

He said that the opposition is only lying about this. Amit Shah said that the government brought the Waqf Amendment Bill because the earlier law was made due to the politics of appeasement and it is not under the spirit of the Constitution. The Home Minister said that the Congress had distorted the Waqf law for political gains. Amit Shah said that in Delhi itself, the Waqf Board has called 123 places as its own. Even in Prayagraj, Chandrashekhar Azad’s sacrifice park has been declared the property of Waqf. After giving a statement from Amit Shah, the question arises that will the Waqf Amendment Bill be passed in this session of Parliament? Actually, there are only 4 working days left in the current session of Parliament. Parliament has the current session till 4 April. The question is also whether JDU of Modi government’s ally Nitish Kumar and Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP Waqf Amendment Bill?

Nitish Kumar has not yet said anything about the Waqf Amendment Bill. At the same time, Chandrababu Naidu said during the Iftar party on Thursday that the TDP government has always protected Waqf properties and will continue to do further. Without the support of Nitish and Naidu, the Modi government will not be able to pass the Waqf Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha. Muslim organizations have already said that if Nitish Kumar and Chandrababu Naidu support the Waqf Amendment Bill, both will be opposed. There are also assembly elections in Bihar this year and only Muslim voters decide victory and defeat in 58 seats.
