New Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah clearly said on Saturday that as long as there is even a single BJP MP in the Parliament, reservation will not be allowed on religious grounds. In the program of news channel Aaj Tak, Amit Shah said that the Modi government is adamant on not tampering with the existing reservation system. Amit Shah accused Congress of weakening the quota of SC, ST and OBC by giving reservation to Muslims. Amit Shah said many other important things in the news channel’s program. He claimed that the country will be freed from Naxal problem by 31 March 2026. He said that security forces are working to achieve this goal. Amit Shah said that apart from a few districts, the Naxal problem has ended in the rest of the country.

Amit Shah also strongly targeted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. In response to a question, the Union Home Minister said that even after losing, Rahul Gandhi has become arrogant. Amit Shah said that the opposition Congress could not win as many seats as BJP won in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, even in the last 3 Lok Sabha elections combined. Amit Shah said that Modi government has 240 seats, but there is no difference between this government and the previous government with 303 seats. This government is still firm on its promises. Amit Shah said that among these promises, one country, one election, amendment in the Waqf Act, strengthening the security of the nation and making India the third largest economic power.

Amit Shah expressed surprise at Congress’s allegation of closeness between Adani and Modi government and said that Congress and Rahul Gandhi are taking inspiration from foreign institutions. Amit Shah clearly said that no government works on media reports. He said that we will see it when we get the indictment documents from America. He hit back at Congress and said that a scam of Rs 12000 crore took place in its government. Amit Shah retorted and asked that if there is any evidence, then why does Congress not go to court? On the question of making Jammu and Kashmir a full-fledged state again, Amit Shah said that he cannot tell the deadline to everyone, but it will be done at the right time. He also talked about reduction in violence in Jammu and Kashmir.
