New Delhi. The case of removing the symbol ‘₹’ of the rupee in its budget by the Tamil Nadu government has caught fire. Tamil Nadu BJP state president K.K. Annamalai, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has been targeted. Annamalai wrote on social media posts tagging Stalin, how foolish you can be, Stalin. The son rejected him. The Executive Vice Chairman of the Tamil Nadu State Planning Commission says that the ₹ mark was removed because it was based on the Devanagari script. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin has surrounded himself with such fools. The summary of the last four years of the DMK government is that it is resorting to advertising and meaningless decisions to hide its inability.

Annamalai wrote in his post, for the year 2025-26, the DMK government’s budget was removed a symbol of the rupee designed by a Tamil. The symbol which was adopted by the whole of India and included in our currency. The BJP leader said that the Stalin government took such a decision but he probably forgot that Uday Kumar, who designed this symbol, is the son of a former MLA of DMK. Not only this, Karunanidhi, the father of Stalin and former CM of Tamil Nadu, also honored Uday Kumar for this.
The DMK Government’s State Budget for 2025-26 replaces the rupee symbol designed by a tamilian, which was adopted by the whole of bharat and incorporated into our cross.

On the other hand, BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya has also condemned this decision of the Tamil Nadu government. Malaviya said, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. There is even more embarrassment for Stalin that the ₹ mark which was designed by Tamil resident and former DMK MLA’s son Uday Kumar Dharmalingam removed it from the budget. The irony does not end here, this mark was adopted in 2010 when the Congress was in power at the Center and the DMK ruled the state. DMK colleague P. Chidambaram also honored Dr. Uday Kumar for this design.
More Embarrassment for Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mk Stalin. The ₹ Symbol was designed by udaya kumar dharmalingam, a tamilian and the son of a former dmk MLA.
