New Delhi. Mahila Samman Yojana is proving to be a problem for Arvind Kejriwal. Congress has met Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena and complained about Aam Aadmi Party convener Kejriwal. On the other hand, members of BJP Mahila Morcha have demonstrated outside Kejriwal’s house. It is noteworthy that the Health Department of Delhi Government had issued an advertisement yesterday itself and made it clear that the Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana is not notified. Since then, BJP has been accusing Kejriwal of misleading women. Now Congress has also opened its front against Kejriwal.

Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit met Delhi LG VK Saxena over his complaint against former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal regarding the Aam Aadmi government’s proposed scheme of Rs 2100 monthly allowance for Delhi women. He says that LG listened to me patiently and said that he will get the matter investigated seriously. LG has also assured action on receipt of evidence.

On the other hand, members of BJP’s Mahila Morcha gathered in large numbers and demonstrated strongly outside Arvind Kejriwal’s house. In the hands of women, there were placards with slogans like Kejriwal is a liar, women have been cheated and Kejriwal has been exposed, Mahila Samman Yojana is just a scam.

Amidst all this, AAP Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has presented a clarification. He says that the people of Delhi are confident that Rs 2100 will be deposited in the bank accounts of women. BJP does not want women to be empowered and that is why they are protesting. I want to tell BJP that no matter what they do, Arvind Kejriwal will implement Rs 2100 allowance scheme for women in Delhi.
