New Delhi. Another Aam Aadmi Party MLA Dilip Pandey has also announced his retirement from electoral politics. Dilip Pandey, MLA from Timarpur, Delhi, shared information about his decision through a social media post. However, he has said that he will remain in the party and work for the organization. A day earlier, Delhi Assembly Speaker and AAP MLA from Shahdara Ram Niwas Goyal had also written a letter to AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal expressing his intention to retire from electoral politics.
Posting his photo with Arvind Kejriwal on social media, Dilip Pandey wrote, for me, the overall satisfaction of being in politics has been that because of our government, the life of many common people and poor people has become easier. Many children had better chances of improving their lives. After fulfilling the responsibility of first building an organization in politics and then contesting elections, now it is time to do something else by staying in the Aam Aadmi Party. Whoever contests the elections in Timarpur Assembly, Arvind Kejriwal will become the Chief Minister of Delhi, and we all Delhiites will together ensure this. I believe that the capital of my relationships will remain with me. I wish that if any of you contacts me, it will further strengthen this belief.
Along with this, the AAP MLA also mentioned his book. He further wrote, the launch of our upcoming book ‘Gulaabi Khanjar’ (History Fiction) is scheduled this month, I will share the information of date, time and place, you must come, I would love it. After the announcement of retirement of AAP MLAs Dilip Pandey and Ram Niwas Goyal from electoral politics, questions are now being raised as to what is the reason why the current AAP MLAs are staying away from electoral politics.
