A new notification has come for Patna which can bring a big change in everyday life. There are plans to build a non-stop approach road from JP Ganga Path to Patna Sahib Railway Station in the city. The objective of this project has now finally received approval. This ambitious project, proposed since 2019, has been given the green signal by the Railway Board under certain conditions.
The revised proposal for exchange of land between Bihar government and Railways has also been passed. Railway Board has accepted the proposal of giving its 14.38 acres of land to the government for the construction of Bihta-Danapur elevated road. At the same time, to speed up the work on these projects, 4.80 acres of land of Veer Kunwar Singh Park and payment of Rs 98.24 crore will also be given to Railways.
After the construction of this new road, efforts are being made to improve the roads and traffic of Patna Sahib. This non-stop route will be extremely convenient for the travelers visiting Patna Sahib where they will be able to easily reach various destinations like Didarganj and Gai Ghat.
One of the main attractions of this project is the four-lane road to be built from Ganga Path to Patna Sahib Railway Station, which will be similar to the real Atal Path. This road will be constructed by Bihar State Road Development Corporation, which will cost around Rs 57 crore.
There is also a proposal to construct these roads by removing the railway tracks, which will be done by removing the already closed Patna-Digha and Patna Sahib-Patna Ghat railway lines. All these are initiatives to ease the traffic of Patna, which can prove to be a big gift for the city.
