Signs of life in space
Scientists of the world have found ‘evidence’ of life in space. Yes, the Mercury planet which we considered to be closest to the Sun and very hot, scientists have got water of water! This discovery is shocking, because the atmosphere of Mercury is so thin that it seemed almost impossible to have water, but the NASA Messenger Mission caught signs of snow on the poles of Mercury in 2012 itself. Now scientists have confirmed this.
How to get snow?
Scientists used special devices such as Eresycibo telescope and goldstone antenna. Without landing on Mercury, he found out the snow through a radio signal. These signals were exactly the same as water snow.
Why is there ice on Mercury?
There are some deep pits on Mercury poles, where sunlight never reaches. The temperature in these places is so low that snow can remain frozen for billions of years.
Scientists believe that this ice would have either come on Mercury through meteorites and comets, or Mercury would have left the vapor from inside himself which froze in these cold pits.

Why this discovery so big?
This discovery is very important not just for Mercury, but for the entire solar system. Earlier it was believed that a dense environment or very low temperature is necessary for water, but it has been proved that it does not always happen by getting snow on Mercury. The special geographical location and speed of the planets also play an important role in it.
After Mars, the mixing of water on Mercury shows that there can be water and perhaps life in many other places in the universe, where we had never thought before.
