People across the country are now waiting for the monsoon to leave. The Meteorological Department has said that the process of monsoon withdrawal can start from Monday, September 23. This time the monsoon will depart from western Rajasthan. However, there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places.
Condition of Delhi NCR:
The rain in Delhi and NCR has almost ended. Now the sun shines brightly in the morning, but people are troubled by the humid heat. Similar weather is expected to remain here for the next two-three days.
Beginning in western Rajasthan:
According to the Meteorological Department, from September 23, favorable conditions are being created for the withdrawal of monsoon in some areas of western Rajasthan and Kutch. At the same time, two cyclonic winds are forming in the Bay of Bengal. One, near the coast of Orissa and Bengal and the other, in the southern part of Myanmar. However, some changes are possible in the dates of withdrawal of monsoon.
Heavy rains likely in central India:
IMD (Indian Meteorological Department) has issued a heavy rain alert for Monday. Konkan coast, Kerala, interior Karnataka, Maharashtra, South Gujarat, Vidarbha, Telangana, North Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh may receive heavy rains. Yellow alert has also been issued in the North East states.
Effect of rain due to low pressure:
Due to low pressure formed near western Rajasthan and Bay of Bengal, there is a possibility of heavy rain with lightning and thunder in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Bihar, Haryana and Punjab.
Warning for fishermen:
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of sea activities in the southern coast of Kerala and southern parts of the Bay of Bengal. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea in these areas as the weather remains unstable near the Malabar and Coromandel coast.
