New Delhi. Rahul Gandhi made a statement on Saturday by taking the name of late Union Minister Arun Jaitley. Rahul Gandhi claimed that he was threatened through Arun Jaitley. Rahul Gandhi gave this statement, but Arun Jaitley’s son Rohan Jaitley posted on X and denied Rahul’s claim. Rahul Gandhi said in a program in Delhi that when he was fighting against agriculture laws, Arun Jaitley was sent to threaten. Rahul had also claimed that Arun Jaitley told him that if you continue to oppose the government and fight against agricultural laws, then we have to take action against you. Rahul said that on this he looked at Arun Jaitley and said that I do not think you are talking to whom you are talking to.

On this claim of Rahul Gandhi, Rohan Jaitley, son of late Arun Jaitley, posted on X and said that he wants to remind Rahul Gandhi that my father died in 2019. Whereas, the Agriculture Act was introduced in 2020. Rohan Jaitley further wrote that it is more important that my father’s nature did not threaten any opposing idea. Rohan Jaitley wrote that his father Arun Jaitley was a staunch democratic and always believed in making consensus. Rohan further wrote that his father late Arun Jaitley used to call for independent and open discussions to get a mutually acceptable solution for everyone even when such a situation occurred in politics. Rohan Jaitley further advised Rahul Gandhi to be conscious while speaking about those who are not among us today. He said that Rahul had tried to do something similar with the late Manohar Parrikar.
