Defense spokesperson Lt Col Amit Shukla said 10 MQ-81 assault rifles and Type 81 assault rifles were recovered during a search operation in the ’27 Mile’ area along the Miao-Vijaynagar road in Namdapha National Park and Tiger Reserve. It is believed that the Eastern Naga National Government (ENNG) militants had hidden these weapons in the forests before surrendering last year.
