New Delhi. Recently, there was a discussion that Arvind Kejriwal can now go to Rajya Sabha from Punjab after losing the Delhi Assembly elections. This discussion now seems to be changing into reality. In the latest development, Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab Sanjeev Arora has been nominated by the Aam Aadmi Party of Arvind Kejriwal for the by -election in Ludhiana West Assembly seat. If Sanjeev Arora wins the assembly by -election, he will resign from the Rajya Sabha and then there is every possibility of Arvind Kejriwal contesting for this seat of Rajya Sabha. Currently, Arvind Kejriwal lives in the government residence received by Sanjeev Arora in Delhi.

Arvind Kejriwal was defeated by BJP leader Pravesh Verma in the New Delhi seat in the Delhi Assembly elections. Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party also lost the Delhi Assembly elections and power has been lost after 10 years of continuous rule with a big majority. Earlier, it was reported from the sources that Arvind Kejriwal will go to Rajya Sabha from Punjab after resigning from former cricketer Harbhajan Singh Bhajji, but now Sanjeev Arora is decided to contest the Punjab Assembly by -election that Bhajji is not being resigned from Rajya Sabha.
Aam Aadmi Party has 94 MLAs in Punjab. In such a situation, it is not difficult for Arvind Kejriwal to win the Rajya Sabha election from there. Arvind Kejriwal had held a small meeting in the past by calling Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, all ministers and MLAs in Delhi. At the same time, on Monday, Pratap Singh Bajwa of Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly, Pratap Singh Bajwa of the Congress had claimed that 32 MLAs of the Aam Aadmi Party are dissatisfied in the state and are in touch with him. However, many leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party had denied this claim of Pratap Singh Bajwa. One MLA even said that all the MLAs of Punjab Congress are in touch with BJP.
