New Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal will leave the Delhi CM’s residence as soon as Shardiya Navratri begins. This news has come in the media quoting Aam Aadmi Party sources. Arvind Kejriwal was given a government residence at 6 Flagstaff Road as CM of Delhi. Now after stepping down from the post of CM, he has to vacate this bungalow. There is no special residence for the CM in Delhi. In such a situation, after becoming CM, the residence of 6 Flagstaff Road was allotted to Arvind Kejriwal. Now Atishi, who has become the CM of Delhi, will live in this bungalow.
Arvind Kejriwal himself had recently announced that he would vacate the CM’s residence. It is being told that Arvind Kejriwal wants a residence in the area of his assembly seat New Delhi. An accommodation is being searched for Arvind Kejriwal on New Delhi Assembly seat. Before becoming CM, Arvind Kejriwal used to live in Kaushambi in Ghaziabad district of UP. Recently, while addressing a meeting at Jantar Mantar, Arvind Kejriwal had also said that even after being the CM of Delhi for 10 years, he did not buy any house in the city. He had said that I received people’s love and blessings. Whereas, people kept saying that how are you the CM that you could not even buy a house in Delhi.
Arvind Kejriwal has also been accused of corruption regarding the CM residence which he is about to leave. This allegation has been made in the case of expensive curtains, toilet etc. in CM residence. Arvind Kejriwal went to jail in the alleged liquor scam case in Delhi. Recently, the Supreme Court had granted him bail in the case of arrest by ED. After which Arvind Kejriwal came out of jail after getting bail in the arrest case by CBI and then resigned from the post of CM of Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal now holds the highest post of MLA and convenor of Aam Aadmi Party. He has made his close friend Atishi the CM of Delhi.
