Arvind Kejriwal made a scathing attack on BJP after the Kalkaji temple attack, said "There is no safe in Delhi"

Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday launched a scathing attack on the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party over law and order in the national capital. In Delhi’s Kalkaji temple, a serviceman was murdered over a dispute related to ‘Chunni Prasad’.

Kejriwal asked in a post on X, “Is these miscreants not trembling before the sevadar was brutally murdered inside the Kalkaji temple? If it is not a failure of law and order, what else is there?”

He said, “The four engines of the BJP have brought Delhi to such a condition that now such incidents are happening in temples. Is there any safe in Delhi or not?”.

Arvind Kejriwal said, “The situation in Delhi is getting worse day by day. The police is busy only in political work. The police only intimidates and intimidates the people who follow the law. The thieves, goons and miscreants are not afraid of the police. They feel that everything can be managed with money. We are asking for time from the police commissioner.

A serviceman from Delhi’s Kalkaji Temple, who was identified as Yogendra Singh (35), was murdered in a controversy related to ‘Chunni Prasad’. According to the Delhi Police, Yogendra Singh, a resident of Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, was serving in the Kalkaji temple for 14-15 years.

The police received a PCR call at around 9.30 pm and immediately reached the spot. During interrogation, it was found that the accused had come to visit the Kalkaji temple. The accused asked Singh to ‘Chunni Prasad’, which led to a debate. The matter increased so much that the accused attacked Singh with sticks and punches.

Police said the victim was immediately rushed to the AIIMS Trauma Center, where he died during treatment. A case has been registered under Section 103 (1)/3 (5) of BNS. An accused, Atul Pandey, age 30, resident Dakshinpuri, was caught by the locals on the spot and handed over to the police. Further investigation is on. Police said that the remaining accused are being identified and efforts are being made to catch them.

Kalkaji Temple’s serviceman Raju told ANI, “According to what I came to know, they took him from Dharamshala at around 9 pm. There were 10-15 people. They had iron rods and sticks and they beaten him and killed him.” The deceased’s name is Yogesh … He was asking for offerings and Yogesh asked him to wait a few minutes, after which he started threatening him … Used to adopt and expect us to give what they want. “
