Arvind Kejriwal's sharp attack on BJP, said- 'Double engine government means double loot'

New Delhi. Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal strongly attacked BJP in the ‘Janata Ki Adalat’ program organized at Chhatrasal Stadium in Delhi. He raised strong questions on the functioning of the Central Government and the BJP in Delhi. Kejriwal said, “Double engine government means double loot. There has been a double engine government in Uttar Pradesh for the last seven years, but nothing has changed there.”

Questions on PM Modi’s 10 year tenure

Arvind Kejriwal raised questions about the ten years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure. He said, “These people have done nothing in the last ten years. Now Prime Minister Modi will turn 75, at least do something.” Kejriwal challenged the Prime Minister that if he announced free electricity in 22 NDA ruled states, he would campaign for the BJP.

Double engine government: inflation, unemployment and corruption

Kejriwal said that BJP’s double engine governments in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir are failing. Same is the situation in Jharkhand and Maharashtra also. He alleged that double engine government means inflation, unemployment and corruption. Kejriwal asked the public that if the ten-year double engine government could not do anything special in Haryana, then what would it do in Delhi?

Failed double engine government in UP and Manipur

Referring to Uttar Pradesh and Manipur, Kejriwal said, “UP has had a double engine government for the last seven years, but their seats were halved in the Lok Sabha elections. Manipur also has a double engine government for seven years and violence has been going on there for the last two years.”

Issue of increasing crime and bus marshal in Delhi

Kejriwal also attacked the BJP government regarding the security of Delhi. He said that crimes are increasing in Delhi and the security system has deteriorated. He said, “I had appointed marshals in Delhi buses to ensure the safety of passengers, but the BJP removed them. The presence of marshals in buses had prevented many major crimes, even kidnapping of children.”

Delhi needs freedom from LG Raj

Kejriwal also raised questions on the interference of the Lieutenant Governor (LG) in Delhi. He said, “The people of Delhi want to get free electricity, medicines and treatment, then who is the LG to stop it?” He said that he will continue the struggle to liberate Delhi from LG Raj.

BJP is anti-poor: Kejriwal

Kejriwal accused BJP of being anti-poor. He said that the BJP government took away the jobs of 10,000 bus marshals, who came from poor families. Apart from this, 1000 workers making slips and cleaning sewers were also laid off. He said, “Pensions of widows, old people, and DTC workers have also been stopped. These people will feel the plight of the poor.”
