All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has criticized Pakistan for not including the Tehreek-e-Rhabari-e-Phalestine (TRF) in the recent Pahalgam proposal of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). Owaisi said that Pakistan is ‘lame’ without China’s support and has no status on the global stage.
According to Hindustan Times, UNSC on Wednesday passed a resolution condemning the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, which was named terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed, but TRF was not mentioned. Owaisi lashed out at this, saying, “Pakistan failed to include its puppet TRF in the UNSC proposal. It shows that it has no strength without China.”
7 people were killed and 12 were injured in a terrorist attack on 2 June 2025 in Pahalgam. India blamed TRF for this attack, which is considered Pakistan -supported. Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said that India had demanded the inclusion of TRF in the UNSC, but China opposed it.
Owaisi further said, “Pakistan promotes terrorism, but when its pole opens on the global stage, it becomes helpless.” He demanded from the Government of India that he took tough measures against TRF and its supporters.
