Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has declared the results of class 12th on 30 April 2025. These results were released simultaneously for Arts, Science, Commerce and Vocational courses. The examinations were held from 13 February to 17 March 2025, in which a total of 3,02,420 students appeared.
Students can see their results on ahsec.assam.gov.in and assamresult.in. Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu announced this on social media and congratulated the successful students.
The results of this year performed better than students. The contribution of girls in the total pass percentage was notable. 81.03% students passed in Arts (Arts). Of these, 49,577 got first class, 80,650 got second class and 53,518 got third class.
The total pass percentage in science (science) was 84.88%. In this, 25,827 students secured first class, 19,286 second class and 3,196 got third class. The pass percentage of girls was 85.54% and boys 84.39%. 82.18% of the students were successful in Commerce (Commerce), in which the pass percentage of girls was 82.40% and 82.08% of boys. 68.55% of students passed in vocational courses.
Overall, 78.42% of boys and 82.95% of girls were successful. The list of toppers and district-wise performance will soon be released by the board. Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for revaluation with ₹ 500 fee per subject. Compartment examination option will also be available for unsuccessful students.
Government schemes for outstanding students
The Assam government is running several schemes to encourage meritorious students. Students topping the state will be honored with cash prizes, scholarship and other incentives. Financial assistance for higher education and self -employment is being provided to meritorious students under the Chief Minister AtmaBhar Assam Abhiyan 2023. Apart from this, free books are provided to students from 11th to degree level under the free textbook scheme.
