New Delhi. The situation remains unusual due to communal tension in Dhubri district of Assam. Even CM Himant Biswa Sarma has ordered the miscreants to be shot on seeing. However, this order of the shoot at site is only for the night. The Chief Minister has said that a particular class has been active to damage our temples and the government will not allow this to happen. Actually after Bakrid, a cow’s head was found outside a Hanuman temple in Dhubri. The next day it happened again, due to which tension increased there. Stoning also took place at night. The CM visited Dhubri district yesterday and appealed to the people to maintain peace. So far 38 people have been arrested in this case.

Chief Minister Sarma said that a day before Bakrid, an organization named ‘Nabin Bangla’ had put up inflammatory posters to include Dhubri in Bangladesh. CM further said that earlier some people used to consume beef here in Bakrid. But this time a large number of animals were brought from West Bengal here and emerged as a new beef mafia in Dhubri, which bought a large number of cattle before Bakrid. CM said that orders have been ordered to investigate the matter.

Along with this, Rapid Action Force (RAF) and CRPF personnel will be deployed in the district and all the accused trying to incite the violence will be arrested and sent to jail. The Chief Minister wrote in a social media post about this, I went to Dhubri today to take stock of the situation, and if needed, I will go there again. I have assured all the people of Dhubri that no one needs to live fearfully. The Assam government is with you guys.
