New Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Atishi Marlena, while reciting odes in praise of former CM Arvind Kejriwal in the Assembly today, once again referred to him as Lord Ram. Not only this, Atishi also compared AAP leader and former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia with Laxman. Atishi said in the Assembly, I would like to say on behalf of the MLAs that this session and this day is a very happy day for us, because after almost a year, Ram and Laxman of our party, Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia are sitting together.

Atishi said that but there is sadness in the hearts of all of us that the leader Arvind Kejriwal, who was elected by the people of Delhi with an overwhelming majority, had to resign due to a conspiracy. Accusing BJP of tarnishing Kejriwal’s reputation, the Delhi CM said that the AAP convenor was implicated in false cases and kept in jail for six months. Let us tell you that earlier Manish Sisodia had also described Kejriwal as Lord Ram and himself as his Laxman. Sisodia had said that the pair between me and Kejriwal is like that of Ram and Laxman, which can never break. Actually, this story of Ramayana in Aam Aadmi Party started with Atishi taking over as the Chief Minister. Atishi did not sit on the CM’s chair and left it vacant for Kejriwal and assumed the post of Chief Minister by sitting in another chair next to him.
Atishi had said that just as Bharat took over the governance of Ayodhya by keeping the feet of Shri Ram, similarly I too will become Kejriwal’s Bharat and run the government of Delhi. After this, Delhi government minister Kailash Gehlot had also said that just as Hanuman ji did all the work as a servant of Lord Shri Ram, in the same way I too will complete all the pending works by becoming a servant of Arvind Kejriwal. Whereas BJP and Congress are continuously raising objection on this matter. BJP and Congress leaders, while targeting Arvind Kejriwal, had said that comparing a man who has been in jail on corruption charges with Lord Shri Ram is condemnable.
