At least two security personnel were killed and seven others were injured in an attack on an investigation post in north-west Pakistan. Officials gave this information on Friday.
Officials said that terrorists attacked the check post at Hussain Mela, the border city of Kurram district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, on Thursday night.
Officials have claimed that terrorists had arrived here after infiltrating Kurram district from Nangarhar province in Afghanistan.
The injured were taken to a hospital in Peshawar for treatment.
Officials said a terrorist was arrested after the security forces started a search operation.
He said that the local people managed to catch the terrorist, who confessed that the Taliban had provided arms and ordered an attack on the outpost.
