Attack on Saif: Shahid Kapoor broke his silence, know what he said?

After the attack on Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor said on Friday that we hope that his (Saif’s) health will improve and we are all worried about him. Shahid had worked with Saif in the film ‘Rangoon’.

Saif was attacked several times with a knife by an intruder in his house. In the attack that took place around 2.30 am on Wednesday, 54-year-old Khan was stabbed at six places including his neck. According to the doctors treating Saif, he is out of danger after emergency surgery at Lilavati Hospital.

Shahid told reporters at the trailer launch of his new film ‘Deva’, “We hope that Saif’s health will improve. We hope he is feeling better. We are all shocked by what happened to him in his personal life. It is difficult to believe (such an incident) in a city like Mumbai. I am sure the police is trying its best.”

He said that such incidents do not usually happen in Mumbai.

Kapoor said, “Mumbai is a very safe city. Even when a family member or women goes out at 2 o’clock in the night, they are safe. This is a shocking incident. We are hoping and praying that Saif gets well soon. We are praying for them all the time.”

Saif and Shahid worked together in Vishal Bhardwaj’s 2017 film ‘Rangoon’. Kangana Ranaut was also in the film. Saif has undergone surgery at Lilavati Hospital. Doctors said Saif is being shifted from the intensive care unit (ICU) to a special room in the private hospital.
