Bengaluru. Nikita Singhania, wife of AI engineer Atul Subhash, who committed suicide, mother-in-law Nisha Singhania and brother-in-law Anurag Singhania have been arrested by Bengaluru Police. According to the information, Atul Subhash’s wife Nikita Singhania was arrested by Bengaluru Police from Gurugram. Whereas, Nisha Singhania and Anurag Singhania were arrested from Prayagraj. Bengaluru Police presented all of them in the court. From where all three have been sent to jail in judicial custody. Bengaluru Police had formed two teams to investigate the matter after the suicide note and video of Atul Subhash.
Atul Subhash committed suicide on 9 December 2024. Atul Subhash had made many allegations against his wife, mother-in-law, brother-in-law and cousin father-in-law. Atul Subhash had made a 90-minute video before committing suicide. In which it was said that the wife had filed 9 cases. She also does not allow her to meet her son. Atul Subhash had written in the suicide note that his wife Nikita even said in front of the family court judge that why don’t you commit suicide. Atul Subhash had also made a serious allegation in his suicide note that the family court judge had asked for Rs 5 lakh to settle the case.
When the video and 24-page suicide note of Atul Subhash made before suicide went viral, there was an uproar. Only after this, Bengaluru Police reached Atul Subhash’s in-laws house in Jaunpur. However, before the police could arrive, Atul Subhash’s mother-in-law Nisha Singhania and brother-in-law Anurag Singhania had fled after locking the house late in the night. At the same time, Atul’s wife Nikita Singhania had filed an application in Allahabad High Court seeking anticipatory bail. Questions were being raised continuously on social media as to why the accused were not being arrested. Now all the accused have been arrested. Atul Subhash had written in his suicide note that if the people because of whom he was committing suicide could not be given strict punishment, then the ashes should be thrown into the gutter.
