Atul Subhash's Mother Filed An Application In Supreme Court: Atul Subhash's mother applied in the Supreme Court, notice issued to UP, Haryana and Karnataka government, Atul Subhash's Mother Filed An Application In Supreme Court, Notice issued to UP, Haryana and Karnataka governments

New Delhi. Atul Subhash’s mother Anju Devi will not get the custody of her grandson, the Supreme Court has rejected her petition. The Supreme Court has clearly said in its order that Atul Subhash’s son will remain with his mother Nikita Singhania. However, the top court told Anju Devi that she can appeal in the lower court to demand the custody of the child. Earlier, during the hearing, the court had directed Atul Subhash’s wife Nikita to present her minor son through video conferencing. After this, Supreme Court Justice BV Nagarathna and Justice SC Sharma talked to the child and then gave their verdict.

Earlier, in the hearing held on January 7, the Supreme Court had said that the child has spent very little time with the grandmother, hence the grandmother is a stranger to the child. The court had sought information about the condition of the child from Nikita Singhania, wife of Atul Subhash and mother of the child. Let us tell you that AI engineer Atul Subhash had committed suicide accusing his wife Nikita Singhania and her family of harassing him. His body was found in his flat in Bengaluru on 9 December. Before committing suicide, Atul Subhash had made a video and also left a suicide note in which he had expressed his grief.

After Atul committed suicide, the police arrested Nikita Singhania, her mother Nisha Singhania and brother Anurag Singhania. After this, Atul Subhash’s mother Anju Devi had filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding the custody of her grandson. He had said that the child’s mother and her maternal family were in jail, hence the custody of the child should be handed over to his grandparents. Anju Devi had also said in her petition that she had no idea about the whereabouts of her 4-year-old grandson.
